This call did not go into areas such as Guam, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico as distinguished from the U.S.. However, after all call costs are cheaper than other providers even Skype itself.
As reported by the Sydney Morning Herald, the analysts said this would be a threat to a number of services like Skype and a number of conservative telephone company service. It may be that Skype wants to give something back to Google is trying to take the cake for the VoIP phone market is giving money.
Skype, Google, and many other services also offers free bid for calls from PC to PC but Google is now trying to take the Skype market.
“It’s a big risk for Skype. Competitors (Google) has a good name and trusted,” said Todd Rethemeier of Hudson Square, an agency analyst.
